1. Who We Are
For the purposes of this policy, the data fiduciary (the party that decides how your personal data is used) is DS Digital Services, with its registered office at Your street address, Locality / area, Your city, Your state — 000000, India.
Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following categories of information:
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, billing address and the details of your project or enquiry — submitted through our contact form, by email, on WhatsApp, or over a call.
- Transaction information: a record of what you purchased, the amount, the date, the invoice and the payment reference. Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways — we never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. We only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded, and a masked reference.
- Delivery information: for digital products, a record of the download link issued to you and whether it has been accessed — used to fulfil the order and to assess refund eligibility.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages visited and time spent, collected automatically when you visit the website.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as biometric, health or caste information, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request;
- process payments, deliver digital products and issue invoices and receipts;
- verify refund eligibility and investigate failed or disputed transactions;
- manage our relationship with you and provide customer support;
- operate, secure, maintain and improve our website and services;
- send you service-related messages, and — only where you have consented — occasional updates about our work;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- comply with our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
4. Our Legal Basis
We process your personal data where it is necessary to perform a contract with you, where you have given us consent, where it is necessary for our legitimate business interests (such as securing our website and preventing fraud), or where we are required to do so by law — for example retaining invoices for tax purposes.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time; doing so does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5. Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly and to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may stop parts of the site working. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of individual visitors.
6. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary, with:
- Payment gateways and banks — to process your transaction, issue refunds and resolve disputes;
- Service providers who help us operate — hosting, email delivery, file storage, analytics and messaging platforms including the WhatsApp Business platform;
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where required;
- Government authorities or courts, where we are legally required to disclose information or need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where a third party processes data on our behalf, we require them by contract to protect it and to use it only for the purposes we specify. Some of these providers may store data outside India; where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.
7. How Long We Keep It
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Invoices, transaction records and tax documents are retained for at least 8 years, as required by Indian tax law. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.
8. How We Protect It
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, access controls limiting who on our team can view client data, and reputable, security-audited third-party providers for payments and hosting. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a personal-data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated;
- request erasure of your data where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;
- complain to us, and thereafter to the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity, and will respond within 30 days.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the “last updated” date revised. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
